The Bentley Municipal Library is open! In efforts to keep our community safe we will be sticking with curbside hours for the months of June, July & August. 

Curbside pick up hours:

Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Fridays from 3:00 to 7:00 PM
Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM


While the library building is currently closed to the public, we are committed to staying relevant in our community during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Our library staff members are here to help you and provide instructions on how to request via the online catalogue, sign you up with a library membership, and fulfill your scanning/printing needs. Please contact us via phone or email for assistance. 

You can access our eLibrary resources, such as PressReader, CloudLibrary, Solaro and more with your library membership. 

Activity Kits are available every Monday and are put outside our front door in a weather proof tote.Activity Kits are free and available for pickup when its convenient for our patrons.

This portal allows access to the Gale Primary Sources, a resource with 69 unique primary source collections, including extensive resources related to First Nations and Indigenous peoples, the Associate Press Collections, Smithsonian Collection Online, Archives of Human Sexuality and Gender, and more!

Using the Alberta Research Portal

  1. Click Visit Alberta Research Portal.
  2. Search for search terms or click Resources in the top right corner to find a specific primary source collection.
